Heaven and Hell
If there's a heaven this is hell,
Goodbye to all I wish you well,
A deadly merchants stowaway,
The pain will never go away,
For curses plagued and sapped my life,
To chaos, envy, gloom and strife.
A sweated cloth that has been wrung,
To bitter taste upon my tongue,
The sound of silence loud as all,
It's blaring noisome chilling call.
Four shaded figures soon surround,
A whisper comes up from the ground,
It speaks and slowly says to spill,
A drop of blood or two you will,
"Return your body now to me — all rivers lead unto the sea"
"If you oblige and listen well, you'll know at last that this is hell — but should you cease and tell me no — no seeds you sow will ever grow,
and every door will crack and creak — curse every word you ever speak,
you'll utter nothing's in a snare,
to keep you gasping poisoned air..."
I softly spoke and said to he,
"It's that of which I say will be —
The world it is your enemy,
When living in your memory.”
“Contrasting forces split your soul,
Within you leave a gaping hole,
That can't be filled with what you seek,
But only that of which you speak.”
